Each steer will vary in weight, and vary in leanness which determines the number of steaks, size of roasts, and how much ground beef each steer will yield. Therefore, it is impossible to list the “actual” amount of cuts in a 1/2 Beef Package.You can choose the thickness of your steaks: 1” or 1 ¼” or 1 ½”. You can have a Prime Rib Roast OR about 10 Rib-Eye Steaks. You may also opt for NY Steaks and Tenderloins in place of Porterhouse and T-Bone Steaks, (they come from the same cut). Or choose a mixtur of all steaks. There is a $500 deposit for the 1/2 Beef Package. Current price: $14.50 per pound, you’ll receive APPROXIMATELY 200 to 225 pounds, with all cuts individually packed and labeled.
