In the 1800’s, Yavapai County and the Verde Valley in particular were known for cattle ranching and the lush valley that was watered year round by Page Springs fed Oak Creek.
Our cattle enjoy grazing on the finest irrigated grass pastures, in the shade of old growth Sycamore and giant Cottonwood trees lining 3/4 of a mile of Oak Creek.
The bulls and cows are in a closed herd which accounts for their good health and phenomenal conception rate. With no infections and no gut inflammation due to grain feeding, there is no need for the over use of antibiotics. We have never administered any hormones to our cattle and they breed, conceive, and calve in the grassy pastures as one big happy family. We rotate the pastures regularly and the large open spaces and hillsides provide for natural exercise.
Purchasing local, 100% grass-fed, grass-finished Angus beef from Tres Hermanas Ranch for your family dinner table is a wise and healthy nutritional choice.
